The Pawnee Police K-9 Unit was activated in January 2002 with the help of the Pawnee Nation Police, the Pawnee Nation Housing Authority and the City of Pawnee. The K9 Unit has lead or assisted in the arrest of hundreds of drug offenders in Pawnee and Osage Counties. The K9 Unit has seized over $10,000 in cash. The K9 Unit is trained in the areas of suspect apprehension, narcotics detection, building searches, area and article searches and tracking. The K9 Unit performs weekly maintenance training and all training is recorded. We will be adding photos to this page as they become available.
